We do! We accept most major insurances.

Prevail Recovery Center is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families and accredited by the Joint Commission.

We will work with you on any out-of-pocket costs you may incur to ensure the financial burden is lessened, especially for those without insurance.

At Prevail, you aren’t just a number. Ownership and all of our directors have been in your shoes and now live a happy, sober life. We know what it’s like because we have lived it. When you’re at Prevail, you are treated like family by every staff member and warmly welcomed into our community. 


Aside from the welcoming, family-like environment, our clinical and medical team set us apart. Clinical is led by our Clinical Director, Dr. Roberto Sanchez, Psy. D, who oversees a group of Master’s level clinicians that ensure you are getting the proper care tailored to your needs, and not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our highly experienced admissions staff can guide you through that process.

Our case management team is experienced and capable of helping you handle all legal issues while under our care.

Our staff is able to transport you from the airport to the facility, welcome you, and begin intake.

We suggest going through HR, and various programs may be available to you, such as short-term disability or FMLA.

Our treatment team and admissions team are experienced in aiding you through all hurdles associated with the decision to seek help. 

You can tell them you are in treatment once you arrive, and our case management team can handle all needed paperwork and logistics that they require.

Clinical FAQ

Group therapy, individual therapy, experiential therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.

  • PHP attends 5 hours a day, 6 days a week. 
  • IOP attends 3 hours a day, 3 to 5 days a week.

The 12 Steps helped us – we believe they can help you too.

PHP is a higher level of care with more intensive therapy and more hours & days per week, as opposed to IOP, which is still substantial but less so than PHP.

We provide outpatient therapy, where you can continue to see your therapist once a week, receive medication management, and attend a couple of group therapy sessions weekly.

We do! We have a robust Facebook group and community of alumni, stay in contact with you, and throw alumni events/parties every month!

  • PHP usually lasts 4 to 6 weeks
  • IOP usually lasts6 to 8 weeks
  • However, the length of treatment is handled on a case-by-case basis depending on the needs of the individual in treatment.

100%. HIPAA ensures that all treatment is entirely confidential, and we follow the confidentiality laws in their entirety, and all staff members take your privacy and confidentiality very seriously.

You will meet with your primary therapist a minimum of once per week.

Our case management team runs a weekly family group, wherein they can speak to a staff member and understand more about treatment. We also highly encourage you to involve your family in your individual therapies with your therapist.

Yes – we have Psych ARNPs, Medical ARNPs, and PAs, and our Medical Director is an MD Psychiatrist.

Facility FAQ

Yes – just not during group hours (which depend on what level of care you are in)

Yes – just not inside the facility or the housing.

Our case management team will help with any work-related 

Our housing is located very close to many job opportunities, bus routes, and only about one mile from the beach. It’s comfortable, renovated housing with everything that you need.

The whole housing complex is co-ed, but different genders reside in different buildings and units.

Yes – we allow pets if you have an ADA-registered service animal. The admissions team can always assist you with more questions or concerns regarding this.
