New Jersey Heroin Rehab Center

Prevail Recovery Center is an outpatient-only treatment facility, making it an ideal fit for anyone looking for a New Jersey heroin rehab center who needs addiction treatment but does not require inpatient care at this time. Many people are drawn toward outpatient care because of the flexibility it provides. We offer the following levels of outpatient care. If you need help deciding which level of care is right for you, our staff can help you decide during the admissions process.

Withdrawal Management

Detoxification or “detox” is designed to help people get off of drugs and alcohol safely. Since it can be challenging to stop using opioid drugs like heroin for many reasons, detox can be highly beneficial as a first step in treatment. Our outpatient detox programs help clients get sober while living off-site. Detox plans at Prevail Recovery Center can include various interventions, like therapy and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Many people with an addiction to heroin find that outpatient detox works well for them. However, if you require inpatient detox, we can refer you to a treatment center that offers inpatient care. 

Partial Hospitalization

Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) are the highest level of care you can get for heroin addiction without being in an inpatient program. On a typical day in PHP, you will spend most of your days at your treatment center but return home at night to sleep. The time commitment required in PHP is much like that of a full-time job. Our partial hospitalization programs include a combination of multiple treatments and activities, including but not limited to regular groups, individual therapy sessions, family therapy options, recreation, and more.

Intensive Outpatient

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are less intensive and time-consuming than PHP. Our IOP clients engage in a combination of group and individual therapy, just like those in PHP. The difference is that the amount of therapy required for IOP means that you’ll be in treatment for fewer hours per week. IOP can be ideal for those who need a comprehensive addiction treatment team but cannot pursue PHP due to outside commitments. For example, those who must work, attend school, or care for their families during treatment. In some cases, it’s also a step-down form of care after someone goes to inpatient treatment elsewhere or finishes PHP with us.

Outpatient

Our other outpatient options require a very low time commitment and are frequently utilized by those who have completed PHP or IOP with us. A significant portion of our clients choose to enter continued outpatient care after PHP or IOP so they can keep accessing therapy and other treatments offered at Prevail Recovery Center, have regular check-ins with staff, and get support from their community as they live or transition back into their daily lives.
