ADDICTION TO VALIUM
Valium Addiction Treatment Center
Also called diazepam, Valium is part of a drug class called benzodiazepines. While they have many valid medical purposes, benzodiazepines are known to cause physical dependence easily, which increases the risk of addiction. However, those with an addiction to Valium can overcome it. Finding a Valium addiction treatment center is a brave step that can change, or even save, your life. So, what should you know? This page will go over the signs and symptoms of Valium addiction, the long-term health risks of Valium abuse, and how outpatient treatment at Prevail Recovery Center can help.

Outpatient ValiumTreatment
All of Prevail Recovery Center’s programs are outpatient. This means that you or your loved one are able to access high-quality addiction treatment while living off-site. With that said, everyone has different needs when it comes to substance abuse treatment. So, what should you know about outpatient treatment, and who is it for?
Our fully outpatient Valium addiction treatment center is unique because, unlike in inpatient treatment facilities, all of our clients get to go home at the end of the day. We offer multiple levels of outpatient care (or types of outpatient programs) so that you can choose the right fit for your needs.
Clients may opt for outpatient treatment for the following reasons:
- Outpatient programs give you increased flexibility, trust, and independence.
- It provides assistance in working through real-life challenges that arise throughout recovery.
- It allows you to build new skills, create a support team, and make a long-term sustainable self-care plan that suits your needs.
As for who outpatient centers like Prevail Recovery Center are for, many people can benefit from outpatient treatment. Outpatient treatment options can be ideal for those looking into Valium addiction treatment who prefer to sleep and live at home while in treatment, need to maintain responsibilities like work, caring for a family, or school while in treatment, or do not need treatment as intensive as inpatient care
Our Programs
For some people in search of a Valium addiction treatment center, Prevail Recovery Center could be their first treatment experience. Other potential or incoming clients may have gone to treatment before. While all of our programs are conducted on an outpatient basis, the time commitment and level of support each one offers varies. Here are the programs or levels of care we offer and what each one entails. If you’re not sure which level of care is right for you at this time, our admissions staff can help. Those concerned with where to live during or after treatment may consider our sober housing facilities.
Partial hospitalization programs, or PHP, are the most intensive kind of outpatient addiction treatment. The time commitment generally required for PHP is like a work or school day in that you’ll attend treatment for most of your day on most days of the week for the duration of your program. Due to its intensity, PHP immerses you in recovery while still providing the perk of living off-site. Prevail Recovery Center’s partial hospitalization programs generally entail a combination of group therapy, individual therapy, and other treatments or forms of support (e.g., recreation activities or medication management).
Intensive outpatient programs, or IOP, are one step below PHP in intensity. IOP requires less of your time each week, making this level of care an ideal fit for people who need increased flexibility due to work, school, family life, or other obligations, while in their treatment program. Despite the lower time commitment, IOP still provides thorough treatment through a combination of regular groups and weekly individual therapy sessions alongside other treatments relevant to your needs.
Outpatient
Less intensive outpatient care helps you maintain recovery while living your new, sober day-to-day life with continued therapy, groups, and other applicable services, such as medication management. This kind of outpatient care is usually best for those stepping down from a higher level of care like PHP or IOP because it entails less supervision and an even lower time commitment.
