ADDICTION TO XANAX

Xanax Addiction Treatment Center

Xanax is a fast-acting benzodiazepine most often used to treat anxiety symptoms. Also called Alprazolam, Xanax is known to cause physical dependence when taken continuously. While it’s very easy to develop an addiction to Xanax, it’s also possible to overcome it. This page will detail the signs and symptoms of Xanax addiction, the long-term health risks of Xanax abuse, and how our outpatient programs can help you heal if you’re searching for a Xanax addiction treatment center.

SIGNS & SYMPTOMS

Signs and Symptoms of Xanax Addiction

Statistics show that deaths involving benzodiazepines like Xanax have increased in recent years, playing a role in over 12,400 deaths in 2021. Some people who abuse Xanax also misuse alcohol and other drugs, which may increase the risk of serious health consequences and side effects. The signs and symptoms of Xanax addiction can be behavioral, mental, or physical in nature. Long-Term Health Risks of Xanax Abuse

Misusing Xanax does not just affect people short term. Unfortunately, there are many long-term health risks associated with Xanax abuse, which is part of why it’s so imperative to get help even if you feel as though your Xanax usage is under control.

Long-term health risks associated with Xanax abuse include but aren’t limited to the following:

  • An increased risk of injury or accidents from driving or engaging in other risky activities while on Xanax
  • Worsened or new mental health symptoms (e.g., increased feelings of anxiety or depression)
  • Financial and occupational problems, such as job loss or getting in trouble at work

Outpatient Xanax Rehab:Levels of Care

Prevail Recovery Center is a fully outpatient treatment facility. Currently, we offer the following levels of care. No matter what program you enter, we are here to help you with everything from getting off of substances safely to moving through your treatment program and building a personalized aftercare plan. If you need help deciding which level of care is best for you, our team can help.

Partial hospitalization

Partial hospitalization programs, also called PHP, are the most intensive type of outpatient addiction treatment. The time commitment generally required for PHP is like a work or school day in that you’ll attend treatment for most of your day on most days of the week for the duration of your program. Due to its intensity, PHP immerses you in recovery while still providing the perk of living off-site. Prevail Recovery Center’s partial hospitalization programs generally entail a combination of group therapy, individual therapy, and other treatments or forms of support (e.g., recreation activities or medication management).

Intensive outpatieny

Intensive outpatient programs, also called IOP, are one step below PHP in intensity. IOP requires less of your time each week, making it an ideal fit for people who need increased flexibility due to work, school, or family life while in their treatment program. Despite the lower time commitment, IOP still offers thorough treatment through a combination of regular groups and weekly individual therapy sessions alongside other treatments relevant to your needs.

Outpatient

Outpatient programs are ideal for those stepping down from a higher level of care like PHP or IOP because they require an even lower time commitment and offer less supervision. Less intensive outpatient care helps you maintain recovery while living your new day-to-day life through continued therapy, groups, and other services, like medication management, if applicable.

Reasons to Choose Prevail Recovery Center

xanax-04

If you are looking for a Xanax addiction treatment center, you may have compared several of your options already. Alongside our levels of care and expert staff members, here are some of the reasons people choose Prevail Recovery Center for their treatment needs.

Sober Living

We have supportive housing, also called sober living, available for sober individuals in and outside of addiction treatment programs. Since Prevail Recovery Center is an outpatient-only facility, many clients live in our sober living facilities if their current address is a way out from treatment. People also choose supportive housing for the sense of community they get to build in a 100% drug and alcohol-free space.

Dual diagnosis care

We have dual diagnosis care for clients facing substance use disorders and at least one other mental health condition. If you have a co-occurring mental health condition, such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, or anxiety, to address alongside substance abuse, it is a great reason to choose Prevail Recovery Center.

Evidence-based treatment

Our treatment programs consist of diverse research-backed therapeutic modalities and treatments. If you’re unsure whether we offer a specific treatment, amenity, or recreation activity, please contact us for more information.
