Treatment Covered by Humana

Humana health insurance is one of the largest health insurance providers across the United States. Most policies offer some degree of Humana health rehab for mental health, but your coverage will vary significantly based on your plan.

Humana offers several types of medical insurance plans, most commonly the provider organization plans or PPOs and the health maintenance organization plans or HMOs. Sometimes Humana PPO plans are more flexible than the HMOs because they let you get care without a referral, and you can use in-network or out-of-network providers. If you have an HMO, you must designate a primary care physician, receive a referral from your primary care physician, and only get help from in-network providers.

Humana also partners with the Department of Defense, offering certain TriCare Health programs for military service members and their families. Depending on the state in which you live, Humana provides Medicare and Medicaid plans.
