ADDICTION TO PERCOCET

Percocet Addiction Treatment Center

Percocet is an opioid drug that contains a mixture of oxycodone and acetaminophen. It’s one of many prescription painkillers on the market with a high potential for addiction. In 2021, 3.1% of people in the United States reported that they had misused prescription painkillers like Percocet in the past year.

People with an addiction to opioids and other drugs often have trouble discontinuing the use of substances even when they know it affects their life negatively, but treatment can help. Prevail Recovery Center is an outpatient treatment facility dedicated to helping people overcome addiction. So, what should you know about Percocet addiction and getting help?

This page will go over the signs and symptoms of Percocet addiction, the long-term effects of Percocet use, how our Percocet addiction treatment center can help, and reasons to choose Prevail Recovery Center.

PERCOCET ABUSE HELP

Outpatient Percocet  Treatment

Prevail Recovery Center is an outpatient-only treatment facility, meaning that we do not have inpatient programs. Being an exclusively outpatient facility makes Prevail Recovery Center an ideal fit for anyone looking for a Percocet addiction treatment center who wants the flexibility and independence outpatient care provides. We offer the following levels of care. If you aren’t sure which program or level of care is right for you at this time, our staff can help you decide during the admissions process.

Discontinuing the use of substances can come with uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms, which often make it harder to stop using drugs and alcohol. The purpose of a detoxification or “detox” program is to help clients get sober safely and more comfortably. We offer outpatient detoxification programs for clients who experience less severe withdrawal symptoms and do not require inpatient detox. Often, outpatient detox is valuable for and applicable to those coming off of opioids like Percocet. In our outpatient detox programs, you’ll work closely with your treatment team at Prevail Recovery Center for therapy and other applicable forms of support. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available for those who benefit from it.

Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) are the most intensive type of addiction treatment you can get at a Percocet addiction treatment center in New Jersey without entering an inpatient treatment facility. On a typical day in PHP at Prevail Recovery Center, you’ll spend most of the day at your treatment facility but go home at night to sleep. Since clients attend PHP most days for the majority of the week, the time commitment mirrors that of a full-time job. As a result, most people take a break from work or school while they’re in PHP. Our partial hospitalization programs involve a combination of different therapies and treatments, including but not limited to regular groups and individual therapy sessions.

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) at an Percocet addiction treatment center in New Jersey are less intensive and time-consuming than PHP but are still a high-quality and effective treatment option. Just like those in PHP, our IOP clients engage in a combination of groups, individual therapy, and other treatments that apply to the specific client. The difference is that the amount of therapy required for IOP means that you’ll be in treatment for fewer hours each week than you would be in PHP. IOP can be ideal for those who need a comprehensive addiction treatment team but cannot commit to a higher level of care. For example, those who are employed or enrolled in college while attending treatment. It can also be used as a step-down form of care.

Other outpatient programs those looking for a Percocet addiction treatment center in New Jersey may be interested in are less structured and require a lower time commitment than PHP or IOP. Other outpatient options offered at Prevail Recovery Center include but aren’t limited to continued groups, individual therapy, and medication management. Usually, these outpatient options are ideal for those who wish to stay connected to their community and treatment team after finishing PHP or IOP.

WE ARE HERE FOR YOU

Reasons to Choose Prevail Recovery Center

Some of those in search of a Percocet addiction treatment center in may have been to treatment before. For others, Prevail Recovery Center will be their first time in treatment. Regardless, we are here to ensure you have the best experience possible. In addition to our fully outpatient programs and expert staff members, here are some of the many reasons people choose us for their addiction treatment needs.

Dual diagnosis care

“Dual diagnosis” indicates a diagnosis of both a substance use disorder like opioid use disorder and at least one other mental health condition. For example, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Our team knows how vital it is to address every factor that affects your mental health and is equipped to provide mental health care for most mental disorders alongside addiction treatment.

Sober living

We own sober living facilities for those looking for a drug and alcohol-free place to live. Sober living, also called supportive housing, provides the independence and freedom of living in an apartment but with an added sense of community because you’ll live among other sober individuals. Since we are an outpatient-only treatment center, many of our clients who do not live nearby choose to live in our sober living facilities for the duration of their program at least.

Evidence-based treatments

Our programs use a range of research-backed therapies, treatments, and recreational or supplementary activities to give clients the most comprehensive substance abuse and mental health care possible. If you want to know whether we offer a specific therapy or treatment, please call us.
