Prevail Recovery Center is a fully outpatient treatment center that offers multiple levels of care and accepts most health insurance plans. Here are the programs we offer for those experiencing addictions of any kind. We have dual diagnosis treatment available for clients experiencing both addiction and one or more comorbid mental health conditions, which can apply during any of the following programs. Additionally, we maintain sober living facilities near our outpatient treatment center in New Jersey for those who need a drug and alcohol-free living space.

Detoxification
Â
Getting off of drugs and alcohol can be uncomfortable, and in some cases, dangerous. Detoxification or “detox” is designed to help people get off of drugs and alcohol safely and with less discomfort. We use outpatient detoxification programs to help clients with less severe withdrawal symptoms. If your loved one requires inpatient detox, we can refer you to an inpatient detox center.Â
Â
Partial hospitalizationÂ
Â
Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) are the highest level of care you can get without being in an inpatient program. On a typical day in PHP at Prevail Recovery Center, clients spend most of the day at their treatment facility but return home at night to sleep. Since clients attend PHP for the majority of the day, most days of the week, the time commitment mirrors that of a full-time job. Accordingly, most people don’t work while they’re in PHP. Our partial hospitalization programs involve a combination of different therapies and treatments, including but not limited to regular groups, individual therapy, and family therapy, if applicable.Â
Â
Intensive outpatientÂ
Â
Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are less intensive and time-consuming than PHP, but they still offer extensive support. Our IOP clients engage in a combination of groups, individual therapy, and other treatments like those in PHP. The difference is that the amount of therapy required for IOP means that you’ll be in treatment for fewer hours each week. IOP can be ideal for those who need a comprehensive addiction treatment team but cannot commit to PHP. For example, those who are employed or enrolled in college while attending treatment.Â
Â
Outpatient
Â
Our other outpatient programs are even less intensive than IOP and serve as a step-down form of care. In other words, they help clients maintain sobriety and stay connected to their care team post-treatment, which supports prolonged recovery. Outpatient treatment offerings include but aren’t limited to continued therapy, medication management, and groups.
