United Healthcare-Covered Addiction Treatment

New Jersey United Healthcare Drug and Alcohol Rehab Coverage

Did you know that 16.5% of the general population ages 12+ in the United States met the criteria for a substance use disorder in the past year in 2021? It’s true. Despite the prevalence of substance abuse, the unfortunate truth is that 94% of those individuals did not get treatment for their condition. Cost and the belief that one does not have a problem are two common obstacles to treatment. In reality, substance abuse is always worth treating, and addiction treatment is more accessible than most people think. Multiple resources can help you cover the cost of addiction treatment, and health insurance is one of them.

Those in search of a United Healthcare drug rehab in New Jersey will be relieved to know that United Healthcare can help them cover the cost of addiction treatment at Prevail Recovery Center. Prevail Recovery Center’s New Jersey location accepts most major health insurance companies, including United Healthcare, to help make treatment more accessible.

Addiction treatment comes in many different forms but will always fall into one of two categories: inpatient or outpatient. After we verify your health insurance coverage, we will conduct an intake assessment to help your care team understand how to support you most effectively.

PREVAIL RECOVERY CENTER

New Jersey United Healthcare Substance Abuse Treatment Options

Prevail Recovery Center is a fully outpatient treatment center that offers multiple levels of care or types of outpatient treatment. Each level of care or type of outpatient treatment we use requires a different time commitment and may be more or less suitable for an individual looking for United Healthcare addiction treatment in New Jersey based on their current needs. Here are the levels of care we offer and what each one entails. If you aren’t sure which one is right for you at this time, our admissions staff can help you decide.

Detoxification

Getting off of drugs and alcohol can come with uncomfortable and potentially serious withdrawal symptoms. Detoxification or “detox” programs are designed to help people get off of substances safely and with less distress. Our outpatient detox program is an ideal fit for someone who has less severe withdrawal symptoms or who does not need the 24/7 monitoring that inpatient detox provides. Outpatient detox can entail a number of different services, such as regular monitoring or check-ins, therapy, and medication management. In many cases, clients attend detox prior to another level of care, like partial hospitalization. Those who need help tapering off of a substance can enter another level of treatment while doing so.

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available at Prevail Recovery Center. If you require inpatient detox or another form of inpatient care for any reason, we can provide you with a referral.

Partial hospitalization

Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) are the most intensive type of addiction treatment you can get without getting admitted to an inpatient treatment center. In PHP at Prevail Recovery Center, clients attend treatment six days per week and engage in a combination of treatment activities and therapies. For example, individual therapy and regular groups. PHP is an ideal alternative to residential treatment for those who need more supervision than intensive outpatient or traditional outpatient counseling sessions can supply but do not need the level of supervision inpatient treatment provides.

Intensive outpatient

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are the next step down from partial hospitalization. Although many of the treatment activities IOP clients engage in are the same as those used in PHP, IOP clients attend treatment at Prevail Recovery Center less frequently and for less time throughout the week. IOP is ideal for those who need more flexibility than PHP can provide, such as those who must work or attend school full-time while in treatment, or who have finished PHP and are ready to move down to less intensive care but benefit from the structure IOP provides.

Outpatient

Continued outpatient services are available at Prevail Recovery Center for those who have completed a higher level of care, like PHP or IOP, or who need a lower level of support than PHP or IOP supply. Our outpatient program is often used as a step-down form of care designed to help clients maintain sobriety and requires fewer hours of treatment per week. The goal of outpatient is to give you support as you transition back into your daily life.

Reasons to Choose Prevail Recovery Center

Going to treatment can save your life. When looking for treatment, you want to find the best fit for yourself for your loved one in need of care. If you’re searching for a United Healthcare drug rehab in New Jersey, you might or might not have compared several options already. On top of our expert staff members and diverse treatment options or levels of care, there are so many reasons to select Prevail Recovery Center for your addiction treatment needs. Here are some of the many features that set us apart.

Supportive housing

We own supportive housing facilities near our addiction treatment center in New Jersey. Also called sober living, supportive housing facilities are much like traditional apartment buildings with a standard rental agreement. However, they are a 100% drug and alcohol-free space. You don’t need to be in an active treatment program to reside in sober living. Many of our clients choose to reside in sober living during treatment, after treatment, or both.

Dual diagnosis care

Prevail Recovery Center’s United Healthcare drug rehab in New Jersey offers dual diagnosis care for clients who experience both substance abuse and one or more co-occurring mental health disorders. For example, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, or depression. Dual diagnosis care seeks to address both substance abuse and any other mental health concerns a person lives with to support comprehensive treatment and recovery.

Specialized programs

A range of life experiences can inform mental health, addiction, and recovery. We have specialized programs for people who are a part of various communities and groups. These include but are not limited to programs designed for women, men, the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, college students, young adults, teens and adolescents, working professionals, and first responders.

Evidence-based treatments

We know that every client is unique. As a result, we work with every client to create an individualized treatment plan and use an extensive range of evidence-based treatments to address substance abuse and mental health disorders. If you are unsure whether we offer a specific therapy, treatment, or approach to recovery, contact us to discuss your options.
